Where can I get ICL in Seocho?
Along Seocho's eastern edge, the west side of Gangnam-daero, where several refractive clinics list implantable lenses. Seocho-gu runs from Gangnam Station west to Banpo and the Han River; its eye clinics are concentrated on the boulevard it shares with Gangnam-gu, while the rest of the district is residential estates, courts and cultural venues such as the Seoul Arts Center.

BGN Eye Clinic is sometimes listed at a Gangnam-daero address in Seocho, but BGN's official site (checked November 2026) lists only its Seoul branch at Lotte World Tower in Jamsil and its Busan hospital, so we do not list it here. See the BGN profile.
How do I get to Seocho?
From Gimpo, Line 9 express to Sinnonhyeon takes about 35 minutes, then it is one Shinbundang stop south to Gangnam (B&VIIT, Gangnam Smile, Glory Seoul) or two north to Sinsa (Apgujeong Eye Clinic). From Incheon, limousine 6009 stops at Sinsa, Sinnonhyeon and Gangnam Station in about 70 minutes. Bring your glasses for the journey: if you have very high myopia, navigating stations without them is hard.
What follow-up does an ICL need after I fly home?
More than laser surgery, and for years. An ICL sits inside the eye, so your home eye doctor needs to know exactly what was implanted and what to monitor. Before you leave Seoul, ask the clinic for:
- The lens card: model, size, power and, for toric lenses, the axis.
- Baseline measurements: vault, eye pressure and endothelial cell count after surgery, so later results can be compared.
- An English summary of the operation, any complications and the drops schedule.
- A contact route (email or messaging app) for questions after you return.

Who is EVO ICL suited to?
ICL suits people whose prescription or corneas rule out laser correction: high myopia, thin corneas, or eyes prone to dry eye. The lens sits behind the iris in front of your natural lens; nothing is removed from the cornea, and the lens can be taken out or exchanged. EVO's central port lets fluid circulate, so a preventive laser iridotomy is usually unnecessary. You need adequate anterior chamber depth and a healthy endothelial cell count. What does a 7-day ICL plan look like?
